Standards Assignments are exercises that relate to the content of the Standards of Good Practice and provide the means to evaluate a participant's ability to articulate and apply the Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad. The Assignments require the participants to apply what they learn to a variety of education abroad organizational and institutional contexts, which provides opportunities for real world application.

The Culminating Project requires that participants draw upon all of the Standards in a project that relates directly to their professional work in education abroad. The Culminating Project has been intentionally designed to build upon the work  done previously as part of the Standards Assignments.  The Project requires that participants apply the knowledge gained from participation in the Program to a situation that is part of their professional experience.  Each Culminating Project is evaluated by Forum Certification Assessors who are certified, trained and appointed by The Forum.
